Training and Resource Center for Social Occupations "PRO VOCAŢIE" is a private non-governmental organization, established in 2002, legally authorized as the first Assessment Center for Vocational Competencies in social field. All people, without any discrimination, are entitled to lifelong learning, training, qualification and recognition of prior learning through certification of competencies. Our mission is facilitating access to recognition of prior learning through certification of competencies acquired in any context.

The main services offered are:

• Assessment and certification of professional competences
• Develop assessment tools based on occupational standards.
• Delivery of training programs.
• Participation in the process of adoption and compatibility of the EQF.
• Development of occupational standards.
• Vocational counseling and mediation in the labor market.
• Writing proposals for funding.
• Implementation of European projects.
• Fundraising activities.

A new challenge!

On 1 October 2009, CRFPS Pro Vocation started the project "Development of the social network of evaluators - A New Challenge" co-financed by European Social Fund, Human Resources Development Operational Programme 2007-2013, Priority 1, Education and training in support of growth and knowledge-based society "major area of intervention 1.4, Quality in CVT".

The overall objective

Supporting lifelong learning approach by developing a network of assessors in the social field as part of the capacity building process of Pro Vocatie assessment center.

Specific objectives:

• 1. Continuous training for 15 assessors for implementation and validation of the evaluation methodology of informal and nonformal learning
• 2. Development of specific tools to validate prior learning for 5 qualification from social field
• 3. Developing an online platform for social network evaluators.

Certification

Since 2003, CRFPS Pro Vocatie was authorized by CNCFPA to validate learning outcomes acquired in non-formal and informal environment for occupations in the social field. Certificates issued in the period 2003-2010 are exemplified by the following statistics.

Standards

CRFPS PRO VOCAŢIE was a pioneer in drafting the following occupational standards that have been approved by the National Authority for Qualifications: social worker, personal assistant of the person with severe disability, foster care, vocational counselor, nurse.
