A new series of the ELDERLY CAREGIVER AT HOME qualification course begins within the project I AM EMPLOYED, I BECOME QUALIFIED

On December 15, 2022, a new series of 24 participants (group 8) started in the Caraș Severin county in the qualification course of Caregivers for the elderly at home.

The course is organized within the project I AM EMPLOYED, I BECOME QUALIFIED - POCU/726/6/12/13594, a project financed by the European Social Fund, through the Human Capital Operational Program 2014-2020.

The duration of the CAREER FOR THE ELDERLY AT HOME course is 360 hours, of which 120 hours of theory and 240 hours of practice.

The courses take place in the hybrid system.

During the theory and practice activities, the students will acquire general skills, but also specific skills: providing hygienic care for the assisted person; providing first aid to the assisted person; ensuring the comfort of the assisted elder; food assistance and food administration; mobilization and transport of the elderly; mobilization and transport of immobilized assisted persons; compliance and application of medical prescriptions; supervision of the assisted person's health.
