The EU.COOL project was funded by the European Union under the Europe for Citizens Program, applied for Stream 2, Measure 2.3 - "Civil Society Projects"
7 events have been implemented as part of this project:
Event 1
Participation: It brought together 56 citizens, 49 from the cities of Brussels / Liège / Verviers / Tournai (Belgium), 2 from the city of Athens (Greece); 1 in Paris (France); 2 from Bucharest (Romania); 1 Sofia (Bulgaria); 1 Bologna (Italy) etc.
Place / date: The event took place in BRUSSELS, Belgium; 10/11/2017
Short description: it was dedicated to the general presentation of the project; collecting themes for the elaboration of the questionnaire; three working groups and exchanges on the main themes included in the project, three external contributions (Euro-Skepticism, Democracy, Europe of Citizens).

Participation: It brought together 80 people, including 64 from the cities of Brussels / Liège / Verviers / Tournai (Belgium), 6 cities, Bologna / Monza (Italy); 4 in the city of Athens (Greece); 2 Paris (France); 4 from the city of Bucharest (Romania)
Place / date: The event took place in BRUSSELS, Belgium; 16/03/2018
Brief Description: It was dedicated to assessing the degree of Euroscepticism (or indifference to Europe) at the beginning and end of the seminar. Presentation of the results of the Belgian questionnaire. Presentation of a work (by young people) that symbolizes their representation in Europe. 3 workshops around the results of the questionnaire. Back to plenary. Synthesis of works. The seminar focused on social Europe, employment and training.
Event 3
Participation: It brought together 82 citizens, of which 61 in the city of Athens (Greece), 7 citizens in the cities (Brussels / Liège / Tournai) (Belgium); 6 citizens from the cities of Bologna / Monza (Italy), 3 from Bucharest (Romania), 1 from Iran, 1 from Eritrea, 1 from Syria, 1 from Somalia and 1 from Afghanistan
Place / date: The event took place in Athens - GREECE from 17/04/2018 to 18/04/2018
Short description: It was dedicated to assessing the degree of euro-skepticism (or indifference to Europe) at the beginning and end of the seminar. Benchmarking (in session) of the results of the Belgian and Greek questionnaires. Organizing workshops around Social Europe: a sense of Europe and European solidarity that Greek young people did not perceive in the context of the financial crisis in their country. Exchanges on the impact of the migration crisis in a difficult economic context. Achieving a work representing Europe. Summary: The focus has been on the financial and social crisis.
Event 4
Participation: It brought together 185 citizens, including 3 from the City of Athens (Greece), 13 citizens from the cities (Brussels / Liège / Tournai) (Belgium); 1 citizens of the cities of (Bologna) (Italy); 168 from Bucharest (Romania);
Location / Date: The event took place in Bucharest - Romania, between 05.06.2018 and 06.06.2018
Short description: It was dedicated to assessing the degree of euro-skepticism (or indifference to Europe) at the beginning and end of the seminar. Presentation of the results of the Romanian questionnaires. Benchmarking (in session) of the results of the Belgian, Greek and Romanian questionnaires. Several working groups around informing and participating in the European debate. The workshops were led by young people who have already participated directly in European projects (eg young people for Europe, Erasmus ...). Synthesis: Emphasis was placed on the need for more accessible information
Event 5
Participation: It brought together 84 citizens, including 3 from the City of Athens (Greece), 17 citizens from the cities (Brussels / Liège / Tournai) (Belgium); 56 citizens of cities (Bologna) (Italy); 7 from Bucharest (Romania);
Place / Date: The event took place in Monza, Italy, on 17/10/2018
Short description: Presentation of the results of the Italian questionnaires. Benchmarking (in session) of the results of the Belgian, Greek, Romanian and Italian questionnaires. First conclusions and first thoughts and reflections on recommendations: information difficulties, distance from institutions, the complexity of institutional Europe, etc. Presentation of the EU representative in Milan: Open exchanges and debates. Summary: Focus on information and exchange programs, European mobility.
Event 6
Participation: 183 citizens, including 1 in the City of Athens (Greece) and 123 city citizens (Brussels / Liège / Tournai) (Belgium), were gathered together; 1 citizen of the cities (Bologna) (Italy); 5 in Bucharest (Romania); 1 from Valencia - Spain; 1 Aachen - Germany; 1 Porto - Portugal; 7 Guinea; 10 RDC; 5 Morocco; 6 Syria
