Completion of the community development course - PARTNERSHIP project FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES IN CORBEANCA

Completed course on COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

In April 2023, an informal training course on community development was held at the "Periș Center for the Elderly", in which some of the center's employees participated.

The course aimed to develop the capacity and skills of the participants to support and motivate the members of a community and included topics such as: Community, Sustainable Community Development, Development Strategies, Participatory Approach, Community Social Capital Development, Community Development Support.

The action took place within the PARTNERSHIP FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES IN CORBEANCA project, code SIPOCA/SMIS 896/151409, project financed from the European Social Fund, through the Administrative Capacity Operational Program (POCA) 2014-2020.

The project aims to improve the processes at the level of the local authority and the community as a whole through the development of cooperation mechanisms between local authorities and civil society organizations as well as the implementation of measures to consult these organizations and citizens in the process of identifying intervention priorities in the social field.
